The 2023 edition of the Springer book highlighting frontier fluid–structure interaction and flow simulation research from lead investigator under the age of 40 includes four chapters from current and past TAFSM-JP members. The four chapters were contributed by Yuto Otoguro (Tokyo University of Science), Takashi Kuraishi (Rice University), Takuya Terahara (Waseda), and Yasutoshi Taniguchi (Waseda). The book was dedicated to Thomas J.R. Hughes, in celebration of his 80th birthday. The 2018 edition, which was dedicated to Yuri Bazilevs and Kenji Takizawa in celebration of their 40th birthday, also included chapters from the TAFSM-JP members. Those chapters were contributed by Kenji Takizawa, Yuto Otoguro, and Takashi Kuraishi.
