That is because of the difficulty involved in obtaining accurate\u00a0values for the torque generated and also because of the FSI between the airflow and the turbine blade\u00a0motion and deformation.\u00a0The good time-accuracy we get from our space\u2013time formulation will play an important role in our\u00a0computer modeling effort, which we expect to take wind turbine modeling far beyond the level\u00a0reached in the past decades.
