{"id":195,"date":"2016-02-12T20:38:20","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T11:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jp.tafsm.org\/?page_id=195"},"modified":"2016-02-14T10:41:59","modified_gmt":"2016-02-14T01:41:59","slug":"biotechnology","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jp.tafsm.org\/en\/projects\/biotechnology","title":{"rendered":"Biotechnology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this area, with the techniques we have developed for patient-specific computer modeling of\u00a0cerebral aneurysms, we are working with our surgeon collaborators with far more\u00a0computer modeling power than we had before.\u00a0We will focus on doing correlation studies\u00a0for determining why some aneurysms rupture and some do not, designing and computer-testing\u00a0surgical remedies for altering the blood flow patterns in aneurysms, and carrying out patient-specific\u00a0computations for determining the hemodynamic forces on the arterial walls.
